Begin your journey to straight teeth with Fastbraces®
Reveal your ideal forever smile and start sharing it with your friends and family!
Fastbraces® work much more quickly than other orthodontic or straightening systems, allowing for treatment in a much shorter space of time. They work for mild, moderate and complex cases. Our dentists will guide you on their suitability for your case along with merits and negatives compared with other systems.
Like all orthodontic and straightening systems, Fastbraces® gently guide overcrowded, gappy and crooked teeth to a better bite position, creating a beautiful smile and improved oral health. The system is designed to be more compact than traditional braces, making it comfortable and effective. The tooth roots are moved first, promising fast results while not impacting on the outcome or health of your mouth.
How do Fastbraces® work?
Similar to conventional fixed braces, Fastbraces® consist of ceramic or metal brackets fitted to the surface of your teeth for the duration of your treatment. A wire attached through each bracket works to guide your teeth into new straighter positions.
During your treatment, you have regular appointments for us to check your progress and adjust the braces. Your teeth move gradually, typically taking anywhere from three to twelve months to achieve your dream smile.
The best bit for us is watching you see your new smile for the first time after the braces are removed. We provide you with a retainer to stop your teeth moving out of position and leave you to start smiling with pride!

FAQs
How long will it take to achieve my new smile with Fastbraces®?
Your treatment time will depend on a few factors, including the starting positions of your teeth and how much they have to move to achieve your dream result. In some cases, treatment can be complete in as little as 16 weeks. Your dentist will be able to give you a better idea of how long your treatment will take during your initial consultation. Typically though, most treatments take around 6-9 months.
Are Fastbraces® safe?
Yes, the Fastbraces® treatment is well established, effective and safe. As dental professionals, we are best placed to advise you on the best treatments and techniques to achieve your smile goals, and look after your teeth as they straighten and beyond.
Are Fastbraces® painful?
As with all orthodontic treatment, you will likely experience some discomfort in the first few days after your braces are fitted, and each time they are tightened. This is temporary, and can be managed with over the counter painkillers if necessary.
Will I need to have any teeth taken out to make room for my Fastbraces®?
Many patients need to have teeth extracted for traditional orthodontic treatment, but this is not usually necessary for Fastbraces®. The faster and more predictable straightening method moves your teeth at once, meaning no additional room is needed in your mouth.
How do I know if I am suitable for Fastbraces®?
At your initial appointment, we take time to examine your teeth, ask some questions and ensure you are a suitable candidate for Fastbraces®. Most patients will be suitable, as anyone who can get traditional fixed braces almost always can have Fastbraces® too. If we decide Fastbraces® are not for you, we will discuss your other options for straightening your teeth and improving your smile.
Why do I need to wear a retainer after treatment?
Even after orthodontic treatment has been completed, your teeth continue to move, and have a tendency to return to their original positions unless controlled. A bespoke retainer, worn overnight unless you are advised otherwise by your dentist, is necessary to maintain your new, straighter smile. We recommend you wear your retainer overnight for as long as you wish your teeth to stay straight!
